Condition Reports & Certificates

We provide condition reports for home owners, landlords and businesses.

An ‘Electrical Installation Condition Report’ (EICR) is also referred to as ‘Periodic Inspection and Testing’ or ‘Landlord Certificate’.

An inspection would (as far as is practical):

  • Reveal if any of your electrical circuits or equipment are overloaded.
  • Find any potential electric shock risks and fire hazards.
  • Identify any defective electrical work.
  • Highlight any lack of earthing or bonding.

Tests are also carried out on wiring and fixed electrical equipment to check that they are safe. A schedule of circuits is also provided, which is invaluable for a property.

Electrical Vehicle Charging

We are qualified to install most home, commercial and industrial electric vehicle chargepoints.

We can also operate under the UK Government's Office for Zero Emission Vehicles (OZEV) scheme, permitting you access to grants — such as the ‘Electric Vehicle Homecharge’ and ‘Workplace Charging’ schemes (EVHS & WCS) — to contribute to the cost of an installation.

Consumer Units (Fuse Boards)

A fuse board does not need to be replaced due to its age. If after an electrical condition report reveals that the wiring or fuse board poses a safety hazard, then it may require replacing.

If you have an old fusebox you will also have old wiring. Old wiring is not necessarily unsafe due to age; however old wiring will have been used and may have sufficient deterioration to pose a hazard. New fuse boards have switches that are extremely sensitive and with deterioration may not accept the wiring, meaning a rewire may also be necessary.

If the wiring is deemed safe, only the fuse board will need replacing.

Rewires & Additional Circuits

There are no set guidelines as to when a property should be rewired. Just because your wiring is old, does not mean that it is unsafe. However, if you answer yes to any of these questions then a rewiring may be needed:

  • Has the rubber encasing your electrical wires degraded since it was installed in the 1960’s or earlier?
  • Have the lights stopped working?
  • Has your home been flooded?
  • Has you home had a fire
  • Are you moving into a property or extending your property and need to make sure the electrics are safe?

A rewire provides the perfect opportunity to start afresh, with a blank sheet of paper and design fixture and fittings to suit your requirements.

Fire & Security Systems

There are so many options and configurations that this does require a consultation to determine your requirements.

Network, Media & Telecoms

Just a few questions, no mater your requirements we would be pleased to discuss them with you.

  • What do you require from your network?
  • Is it for your work environment or a home installation?
  • Will you require your network to be reconfigurable?
